Things to do in Rome

Rome, the capital of Italy, is a city plenty of museums, squares and roman buildings. The city center has prominent places as the Colosseum. The Flavian Amphitheater completed in 80 AD is the largest amphitheater built. It is the symbol of Rome and one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.

Located close the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, the historical center of Rome is a complex of government buildings, temples and marketplaces.

The visit of the Panthenon of Aggrippa situated in the Piazza della Rotonda is the only ancient Roman building that remained intact through the centuries. Its architecture is notable for its circular floor plan and the distinctive central oculus.

The triumphal arch dedicated to Contastine the Great, The Arch of Constantine, built between 312 and 315 AD, is the largest Roman triumphal arch.

As far as the most famous squares in Rome: Piazza San Pietro, Piazza Navona (the square with three fountains), Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Venezzia, Piazza di Spagna and Campo di Fiori, to name just a few.

And, don't forget to throw your coin into the Trevi Fountain if you want to return to Rome
