For those interested in exploring Limassol, we suggest you:

Limassol Castle

Located in the heart of the city, this castle rebuilt in 1590 under the period of the Ottoman rule overlooks the Mediterranean sea from the rooftop. Inside you will also find a museum that has housed the Medieval Collection of the Cyprus Museum since 1987. You can visit the website for more information about opening hours and ticket prices.

Kourion Archaeological Site

The archaeological remains of Kourion are one of the landmarks of Limassol you cannot miss, specially if you are passionate about history. Standing on the hilltop with breathtaking views, they harbor the city that once stood there. Nowadays it is used for open-air musical and theatre performances during the summer months.

Pissouri Beach

If you look for calm and relaxation, head to this white sand beach. The water is perfect for swimming thanks to the cliffs that act as a wind barrier. Sunbathe and take postcard photos, then have a walk around this lovely village.

Limassol Marina

Limassol Marina brings together restaurants, bars and fancy apartments. You might come here for a stroll in a more exclusive and luxurious environment.
