The outdoor and indoor performance of inverted organic solar cells (OSC) based on bulk heterojunction PTB7-Th:PC70BM in the device structure of ITO/ETL/PTB7-Th:PC70BM/V2O5/Ag using three different ETL are investigated.[1] Impedance spectroscopy (IS) has been applied to study the reason of 60% power conversion efficiency (PCE) enhancement in indoor (LED 2700 K 250—2000 lux) performance compare to those of outdoor (AM 1.5G illumination) performance. The main purpose of this analysis is to identify, regardless the complexity and the noise of the impedance spectra due to the low intensity performed, the charge recombination and the trend of the charge carrier collection efficiency can be estimated under operating conditions. We proposed an equivalent circuit model to describe those phenomena within OSC devices.
