Perovskite Quantum Dots for LED applications

Abstract

Halide Perovskites have revolutionized the photovoltaic field in the last few years. Their outstanding performance is based on a low non-radiative recombination that has make also these materials particularly interesting for other optoelectronic applications as light emission. Especially significant are the very high photoluminescence quantum yield observed for nanoparticles of halide perovskites. These nanoparticles can be produced by different methods even at room temperature conditions. One of the most demanding processes facing the application of these nanoparticles on optoelectronic devices is the cleaning processes after the synthesis due to stability issues. In this talk I present the preparation of CsPbBr3 nanoparticles prepared by different methods and their application on LEDs and discussion the implications of the different growth methods in the different solar cell performance.
