Due to the lightweight, bending possibility and low cost resulting from mass production by roll-to-roll method, flexible solar cells are of interest. This paper will introduce our progress on the preparation and characterization of flexible perovskite solar cells on plastic substrate. ITO-PEN plastic substrate was used as a demonstration substrate with quite good flexibility. Followed by the deposition of a blocking layer on ITO-PEN surface, perovskite films with a thickness of submicron were prepared through solution process. Either HTM/Ag or carbon paste could be used for cathode materials. The photo to energy energy conversion efficiency significantly depended on the preparation of high performance perovskite film. The flexible solar cells presented a comparable open circuit photovoltage with regid solar cells on glass substrate. While, a little lower efficiency was obtained compared to rigid counterpart due to the lower short circuit current density. The bending resistance of the solar cells was also probed.
