As the photosynthesis of Dye Sensitized Cell (DSC), it is the best photovoltaics technology study for indoor cell applications. Most indoor lightsources are fluorescent lights (T5,T8) and LED lights which spectrums are in visible light range,we found DSC efficiency varied with the different indoor lightsources.
Improve the DSC performance for long term stability and design cost-effective materials with environmental friendly concern are the most important consideration for DSC industrialization, Everlight chemical would like to share the result of industrial progress on these issue.
In addition, two more important criteria need to consider for emergency technology become an industrializaion:Ineternational Industrial Standard for world-wide trade and variety Killer application, and Everlight Chemical also has an interest to show the current status of these two progress!
In order to support DSC for world-wide trade, we believed the International Standard for DSC indoor application is needed to set up. Through the platform of SEMI, we formed the DSC/OPV Tasking Force group on 2/26, 2013 in Taiwan. At present, we finished two international standards named SEMI PV57-1214 (Test Method for Current-Voltage (I-V) Performance Measurement of Organic Photovoltaic (OPV) and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)) and SEMI PV69-1015 (Test Method for Spectrum Response (SR) Measurement of Organic Photovoltaic (OPV) and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)) to publication on SEMI website, and 3 more standards are underdevolpment.
Based on Internet of Things (IOT) application blooming, Everlight Chemical will demonstrate Eversolar organic dye of DSC in wireless sensors of IOT application.
