Mass production and reliability are considered as key factors for commercial dye sensitized cells. To meet requirements of mass production, the efficiency of each fabricated cell must be controlled in an allowable difference and fabricating time should be short as possible. A step by step and semi-automatic producing process, including screen printing of electrode material, dye adsorption, lamination, electrolyte filling, and encapsulation, was established to realize the change of efficiency in practice. The other parameters, such as different operator and batch number of material also are considered. The results show that the change of efficiency can be reduced under ten percent with well-controlled parameters. The operator of screen printing process affects efficiency change significantly and the batch number of material is a minor issue. In addition, the cell lifetime was also estimated by accelerated aging test and Arrhenius analysis, showing that cell lifetime can fulfil the requirement of indoor application.
