Objectives

You are invited to participate in the Research Workshop for Young Researchers Thin Film Emerging Photovoltaic and Optoelectronic Technologies (EMTECH), to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 27th to 28th April 2017.

This meeting presents the research landscape in emerging thin-layer technologies, with optoelectronic applications (such as light emission) and energetic (mainly photovoltaic) applications. For this purpose, materials deposited as thin layers (thin film) with their corresponding contacts are used in a generic way. Active components of these emerging technologies include inorganic organic hybrid materials, molecular materials, 2D materials, high performance hybrid perovskites in photovoltaics, and quantum dots. The meeting also aims to be a forum for discussion of new concepts in devices, such as semitransparent devices, devices enhanced by the use of photonics, or nanophotovoltaics. The meeting aims to integrate different areas of research, and facilitate the participation of young researchers, who may attend lectures developed by leading experts, and also present their own achievements, and establish numerous partnerships.

Workshop venue

This meeting will be held in the Residence for Researches, C/Hospital, 64, Barcelona, Spain.
